OK - so we're "BECAUSE HE IS"....so who's HE???
I don't know why I haven't put this on the website before. I guess I just figured that you'd know who I was talking about. But the Spirit has prompted me to share exactly who "HE" in "Because HE is...." is.
I am talking about JESUS CHRIST -- HE is all that we are about. Every song, every spoken word, every breath we take - it's all about HIM.
It's been my experience (and I'm not a theology professor so don't take this as doctrine) that the mention of that name will instill one of three reactions from you.
1. Anger - because you hate Him or don't believe He exists.
2. Fear - that He may actually be real and you're looking around you to see if there is anything or anyone around you that may look "un-Jesusy"
3. Peace and joy and overwhelming love - this is the reaction of those who've met Him...and I don't mean go to church to hear about Him once a week. I mean people who've met Him personally and walk day by day, moment by moment with Him,
I don't know where you fall - but there's a good chance you fall into one of the three groups listed above.
We believe the bottom line is this -- no matter what your reaction to Him - there will come a place in your life when you either accept Him or reject Him.
We thought there would be no better way for you to know who He is...than for some of us to share why we said "yes" and what He's done in our lives thus far. More stories will be added as we go along!
