It's all in your head. These words made Mandy Bashore stop and think. For years she had filled her mind with Godly knowledge. Yet somehow she found herself spiritually bankrupt. "I wondered if I wasn't just imagining things," says Mandy. "I was thinking I had an intimate relationship with the Lord when it was really only knowledge of Him. I was a complacent believer lacking spiritual integrity."
Facing the truth through tough questions allowed God the opportunity to change her heart. Now, she's learning to lean on Him for understanding and fall before Him for forgiveness.
As a result of surrendering, God took a shallow relationship that had been built on the pursuit of knowledge and transformed it into a thriving alliance. "At first, I didn't know what to think," says Mandy. "Then I realized that my growing desire to build a friendship with Jesus was gradually changing my thoughts and actions."
Through her original and God-focused music, Mandy communicates truths that are penetrating, convicting and inspiring. Her deepening commitment to the Lord gives her a gentle power to minister with compassion that softens hearts for fellowship with God. "I've come to realize that He is more than just words on a page," she emphasizes. "He wants to partner with me in everything I do."
